“I freeze moments. It's what I've always done, even before I knew it was called photography.”

I was born in Sardinia, I live in Florence, and since 2015 I've been working as a photographer and light designer. Two professions that may seem distant, but for me speak the same language: light.

As a light designer, I shape light in spaces — how to direct it, how to turn it into atmosphere, how to use it to build emotion before anything else. As a photographer, I do exactly the same thing, but in reverse: I wait for the light to already be there, and I look for the moment when it says something.
